S1E19- Provenance

Wow. Their motel. How did they look at the name "The Boogie Inn" and think, "This isn't going to be weird at all."?

They definitely optimized this episode to compare Dean and Sam's relationship priorities when it comes to women. On the one hand we have Dean, who, with only a couple exceptions, is far more interested in one-night-stands, shameless flirting and waking up with a hangover. On the other, we have Sam, who is definitely the sentimental romantic, as can be told from his interactions with Sarah. One can argue that he is definitely still in love with Jessica, which is completely valid considering they were together for quite a while and he clearly was planning on it staying that way, not to mention the violent way she was taken from him, but even so, you can tell he's definitely not the "player" type, like Dean.

I think that's why when he seems to make a genuine connection with Sarah, he's understandably thrown, and afraid. Jessica wasn't even aware of the paranormal and she got killed, what was going to happen to Sarah, knowing about it?

Not that that stopped Dean from trying to set them up, of course. Losing his wallet, really? Turning on "mood music" at a crime scene? Shameless, absolutely shameless.
