Oooooo...! The plot thickens! Not only do the boys venture back to their childhood home, but there is crazy evil afoot!
Between their mom showing up out of nowhere to come to their rescue and the fact that their father was so close almost made this a Winchester family reunion.
Poltergeists have always had the "really scary but really interesting" classification in my head. When it comes to their history and lore, they have been everything from a mild annoyance (turning your TV on and off) to true manifestations of evil (pushing people down stairs, throwing knives, etc.) I think what's especially scary about poltergeists is the fact that they could happen anywhere, to anyone, at any time. Some stick around for a few minutes, some root themselves for years, and it takes away one of the most valuable things a person has: the safety of their own home.
This one was particularly nasty. I literally had to turn away from the screen when that plumber was working on the sink, I knew exactly what was going to happen to him the moment he started fiddling with the garbage disposal. Ew, ew, and EW. The worst was when it trapped her son in the fridge. I was freaking out that entire scene, omg.
Thank God they had Missouri there to help them with this one. She was a badass; fiercely intelligent and knew how to keep those boys in line!
